Our trained technicians expertly repair your vehicle's finish using warranted DuPont paint systems. To protect the appearance and durability of your paint finish, follow the finish care guidelines shown below.
For the first 30 days after painting:
Wash your car only by hand and cool water regularly. Avoid parking under trees - sap and bird droppings may damage the finish. If it happens, rinse them off as soon as possible.
For the first 120 days after painting:
Use mild detergents designed for automotive washing and cool water. Use soft sponges or clean rags. Always wash your vehicle in a shaded area.
For long-term paint protection:
Wash your vehicle on a regular basis. Always park in a sheltered area. Ice and snow should be brushed off and not scraped. All gasoline, windshield wiper fluid and antifreeze spills should be wiped clean immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners, chemicals, or brushes (automatic car wash brushes can scratch the finish). Waxing and buffing regularly are good for your vehicle. It helps the paint shine, and it also serves as a water and dirt repellent. However, remember to wait 90 days before applying wax to newly finished surfaces.
